About the group

Engineering decisions for energy systems that must work in the real world.

Led by Prof. Yang Yang, the group studies the operation and control of smart energy systems at the University of Macau.

Our research combines mathematical optimization with physical power-system models, machine learning and social data. We work on frequency-secure operation, resilient microgrids, electricity-market design and decision-making under uncertainty.
